Skincare Recipe: Normal Skin

Skincare junkies are always on the look out for new products and information that will help them manage or control any skin concern they are dealing with. Then again, what if you're one of those people lucky to have a truly normal skin with no signs of skin issues or whatsoever?

No oily areas, unevenness, bumps or redness - sounds like a dream, isn't it? But just because you're not experiencing any serious skin concerns right now, it doesn't mean you will not in the near future so before thinking of nothing doing anything to your skin at all, continue to read this post. Here is our recommended daily skincare routine that will help keep your normal skin in tip-top condition.

Best Skincare Routine for Normal Skin

Cleanser: Forget about cleansers with salicylic acid because it can be too harsh and drying on normal skin. A mild cleansing gel with gentle lather is the way to go to delicately clarify your skin and keep it blemish-free.

Toner: Avoid toners that have alcohol on top of their ingredients list and stick to alcohol-free toners that will gently remove excess oil and impurities and restore the skin's pH balance.

Moisturizer With SPF: Sun protection is key to keeping the skin youthful and fresh. Choose a moisturizer that will hydrate your skin and protect you from hard UVA and UVB rays.

Antioxidant Serum: We all want a radiating and glowing complexion so incorporate an antioxidant serum in your skincare routine - vitamin C serum in particular. It will help boost collagen production on the skin and will help fade hyperpigmentation.

Glycolic Acid: Use glycolic acid (AHA) with 10 percent concentration or lower at least once a week to encourage brighter and more even-toned skin. Anything more than that will require a neutralizer so the skin won't react. It will dissolve surface dry skin cells to reveal a smoother complexion.
